Car running OK now. Gas station "prepared to write a check", just need to know for how much. Shop preparing bill.

AlWhen it happened, SIL left car on roadside to go to house for a few minutes. When he came back, police were there. Officer said there were a lot of broken down cars that night, four within a half mile of SIL's.
