I was changing a bulb in my '99s instrument cluster when on of the locking levers for a multi-plug broke into 3 pieces. Now I'm looking for that piece Anyone have an instrument wiring harness or just that locking tab? Please. Porsche says they don't sell that piece by itself.

I've got a set of Hawk Blue 9012 Race Pads #HB289E.610 for a 1997-2004 non-S Boxster front.

Hawk's description: "Medium/High torque and temperature compound with excellent brake modulation. #1 selling brake pad material for SCCA."

They were used for 2 DE runs in the rain on the Lightning track at NJMP so they're almost new. I bought these at the track but would like to continue to use the Pagids that I'm used to so these are for sale.

Asking $100 (less than 50% paid), plus actual shipping cost. Pics available.

The Cayman spoiler is in near perfect condition (part#987.504.619.00)... the 7 mounting holes are in good, working condition. There is a very small scratch on the right-side (passenger side) of the spoiler (see one of the pictures)... I put the tip of the key to show the scale. Great for converting your Boxster "air-dam" spoiler to the Cayman wing - as seen in my DIY article here: DIY swapping Boxster spoiler to a Cayman spoiler
BTW, the spoiler in the article is the spoiler I'm selling.

This is a swap for the 987 cars only... and will not fit 986 Boxsters (sorry). Other two parts you need to complete the swap are noted in the article.

The paint itself is a dark green metallic. But, as you can see from these pix... the spoiler looks black unless you're right on the spoiler with a spot light.

You can have it painted for ~$50 or get it vinyl wrapped in gloss black for half that? I was going to do real carbon fiber overlay, but just have too many other projects going on.

Offered @ $80 shipped. Retail (grey primer) is about $125 + shipping + painting.

Boxster or Cayman Front License Plate Tow Hook Kit (no replies)

This extremely well made part (by Mower Deck Axle) enables Boxster and Cayman owners to mount their front license plate on an aluminum alloy plate that bolts into the tow hook in the front bumper. Installation and removal are a snap. I used this part for several years while living in NY and NJ, but in FL there are no front plates, so I am selling this great part. Four 17" Michele Pilot PS2 high performance tires. I just purchased the rears, when my engine in my Porsche Boxster blew and sold my chassis to a dismantler!!! The rears are just three weeks old!! Look closely, and you can see the "hairs" still on the tires from the injection molding. The fronts are in really good condition... I purchased them early last year and they last me more than twice as long as my rear tires so you should expect these tires to wear equally if you are putting them on a performance car.

All four are are Porsche approved, "N3". The fronts are 205/50 ZR17, The new rears are 255/40 ZR17. From Tire Rack, the rears are $282 each, and the fronts are $203 each. So I figure $250 each for the rears and $100 each for the fronts. You won't be disappointed, my misfortune is your gain. There are no blemishes, no repairs, just great tires. I post on the Porsche forum PedrosBoard under bruce in philly... if you scroll back a few weeks you will see my story on my blown engine. I am also selling my beautiful Boxster S wheels that I had painted Ocean Blue with silver trim, and my hardtop... just wonderful... check them out here on Pedro's Board now.

A BOXSTER TALE

MAX, my nearly acquired 1998 base porsche boxer, went to the porsche doctor yesterday and the report came back that due to the previous owner negligence (changing the oil but not air filter for three years)- the sensor was burned out and was not covered by my warranty. I was bummed and went down to the shop and lo and behold there lies two rear storage bags on my car.

I opened the dirty one and the content was the oem wind deflector. What makes it strange is I have spent countless hours and money replacing these very items. Wind deflector is over $400 on Pelican Parts so I am selling these items plus oem exhaust front unit-if interested @/call -Larry 602-301-1395

Set of 2 - one left hand side, one right.

I had these on my '03 Boxster S and found them great for really reducing the side blind spots. They have a heating element to work with the heated mirror option but don't have connections if you also have the self-dimming option.

Roadster Bag, Anyone? (8 replies)

Thanx to someone here, I was able to score a used but in like-new condition, leather bag from Ebay for the Blue Box. Apparently, these are as scarce as hens' teeth, and Porsche wants an arm and a leg for them, if you can find one. I did a search a few weeks back and found none available anywhere.

Having said that, I live not far from an Amish community, whose artisans are pretty good about reverse-engineering things. If there is sufficient interest here and the other boards, I will take mine to them and see what they will charge to make the bag. Am also guessing that they might be able to make them in additional colors, although they may charge a bit extra for dyeing them in anything other than Amish black.

According to one poster here, Porsche wants $160 + shipping from Europe. Although I can't give you a price right now, am guessing it would <$80 + shipping.

Who has an interest in getting one, and if so, what color would you like it in?
