Clarification

At least in my case, using an iMac and Safari browser, if one decides to not insert a link after clicking the link icon, (and the link window has come up,) the only way to cancel is by force quitting Safari. It's a bit of a vicious cycle. Might be true for any browser.

A dialog comes up asking you to type in a URL. Are you pressing Cancel or are you pressing OK without typing anything?

For the first box, with or without entering anything, but cancelling causes the "loop." Ok, going to the second box allows a cancellation, but it doesn't seem "intuitive" to take the second step when one is hung up on the first. This should be my biggest "problem" for the rest of my life, huh?!
On another note, just noticed spell check doesn't like the two Ls in "cancelling," but is ok with two in "cancellation." Now there's a problem!
