Could someone explain what the Show & Shine event is?

Driving a new-to-me '09S in Aqua Blue Metallic. It does .5 past light speed. I made the Kessel run in less than 12-parsecs.

Friday morning, you shine up your Porsche, then set it out on the grounds for the show - so we can all have a chance to check out our freshly washed rides before we head out on the day's drive.

... but with no judges.
There are plenty of washing stations on the grounds.
There are those that wash it every time they come back from a run.

Our attendance decreased from the projected 95-cars to 83. I called the Little Switzerland and was "upgraded" from the motorcycle lodge to the main lodge. The are other rooms in the main lodge available, as well as the one in the motorcycle lodge.

New PB/Boxster owner here out of Buford Ga. I have already looked thru the roles of members and see at least four people from the ATL area. Just dropping in to say hello. The BRBS sounds like a blast and I am pretty sure I will be working that week/weekend. However If I free up I may join/register late and see you guys up there. I would hate to wait another year or 6 months for the next GTG.
