So, what other ideas (besides driving) do people have:
- The Emerald Village: [www.emeraldvillage.com] (15min away)
- Kayaking/Whitewater Rafting is an hour away (45min away)

Lastly, besides the gift shop and ice-cream parlor next to Switzerland Inn, are you guys/gals aware of near-by "towns" that we can venture to? Blowing Rock was great in that the hotel is right in a small town, where it offered different places to hit up for brunch/lunch, dinner, walks, etc. Ideas?

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

Dave,

Let's not be late - again - to the track if we get access this year.

See you at the BRBS,

Bill
I plan on going over to try it out. Let me know if anyone wants to join me.

I have no idea if there is anything interesting there. We have checked out wineries in the area, and the pickings look pretty slim.

Spruce Pine is where the guy lived that I bought my first Formula Ford from - a beautiful red Lola T-342. May have to make a side trip up there.
