WTB: Porsche 986 Boxster Hardtop or a Porsche shipping crate for hardtop.

Hello all,

I have a 2000 Boxster 2.7 and it is Artic Silver. I looking to purchase a mint condition hardtop. I'm in the Leesburg, Va area, about 40 miles from DC. If no-one has a hardtop to sell, how about a Porsche boxster shipping crate. I will gladly pay for the box and shipping to Va.

Hi Jim,

I still have the crate my hardtop came in (2001 Boxster S). Yes, I practice extreme packrat-ing (actually, it's such a well made crate I did not want to scrap it….)
It is large: 63" x 57"1/2 x 27"1/2. It is located in a suburb of Boston.
I don't have a truck, so we would need to arrange to have it picked up.
I suggest you look into shipping costs (unfortunately, I don't know how much the empty crate weighs), and if still interested, let me know.
