Busch was test driving a bright yellow 2012 Lexus LFA high performance sports car valued at around $400,000 when pulled over.
His lawyer argued that Busch did what most people would do with that type of automobile... seeing how fast it would go.

Right in our NC backyard....anyone else doing 128 in a 45 RESIDENTIAL area would have been thrown in jail for weeks. What a joke.
This bonehead gets his jollies at 200mph on the track nearly every weekend, and does stupid stuff like this all the time. Joe Gibbs is not going to tolerate this crap for long, nor will the sponsors of the #18.
Hard to fathom what went on in the judge's mind other than how much Busch pays in property taxes in that region. Go figure.
