Battery charging on Boxster 98
Brasco - Friday, 31 December, 2010, at 9:26:58 am
Hi all, when charging a battery, is it best to disconnect battery from car, or is it ok to charge while still connected to the car.
Just looking to see if there is a recommended standard.

Thank you

You can ...

... do it either way, but why remove it?
If you remove it you'll have to deal with the radio code, plus your DME's parameters will need to be re-learned.
Just make sure you connect the leads in the right way.
If the car sits for a while you can connect a battery maintainer through the cigarette lighter socket or hard-wired to the battery.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar
