Guenter! Low snow in the central valley of California
EdSac - Saturday, 1 January, 2011, at 9:23:26 pm
After crowing about the relatively mild weather here, we got reports of snow in the flats (elevation 167'). About 60 miles north of here in a town called Arbuckle, along I-5. Arbuckle is about 150 miles n.e. of the Bay area. It doesn't happen very often, but it does snow here once in a great while. I would expect it to be gone pretty soon, maybe even by now.

Not to worry, though. The Napa Valley mustard festival starts at the end of the month. Leave it to Napa Valley to make a weed the guest of honor.
send a rescue party your way.

Our two day mild spell almost has all the s**w melted. Just a few little piles here and there. No worries though. Mother Nature will send plenty of replacement yet before Spring arrives in three months. sad smiley

I just hope we can cut the mustard. Oh, wait - that's a Napa Valley thing. grinning smiley
