Most be the season for new toys. During bad weather, I sometimes scan car/truck ads on line. Bad habit.
My 2007 F250 diesel PU has needed more than the usual maintenance lately, so I was looking at new/used ones. Local dealer had one with just the right options. Forced myself to look at it. Better seats, quieter, 800 lb-ft of torque. After an hour or two of negotiation we settled on a price. (This is not the $102k model) I saved $750 by financing. I wii pay it off in three months.
Dealer didn't want my snow plow or FD light bar. Took me a week to remove them from my old truck.
Some observations: Has Ford Sync voice controlled media system. Wife now wants Iphone. Fender liners are optional at extra cost. Diesels come equipped with a block heater but the electric cord to use it is extra. New truck is same model as the old one, but it's bigger. Just fits in the garage.
