Can a 1999 use 60 mm offset rear wheels (without problem)?

I think the rear offset for a 1999 normally is 45 but I have 60 mm offsets that worked fine on my '02 and hope to establish that they are OK to use on a 1999. Thanks, Tom

I got my answer from a Porsche website and the answer is yes. The factory sells this width for winter tires.
