Borrowed a pst-2 tester and not sure how to test for 4266 fault on 2001 996 turbo. Pressing f12 on the abs error gives 4266 abs fault. Pressing f8 showed a short or light. Having never used the tester before can someone step me through how to diagnose the 4266 fault correctly. Thanks in advance.

Code 4266 is "return pump fault". This is a failure of the ABS. From the shop manual;" no feedback signal (return-pump monitoring ) to the control module."
I'd send you a copy of the page, (40 - D 30) that has some PST 2 instructions if I knew how to attach it. I can send it to your email address.
