Both tucked away for the winter. Has been below zero every night for the past week with 15" of snow most places. Winter hasn't arrived yet. Going to be a longggggg wait until spring.
What time is it, about 1965?
Bobtesa - Friday, 17 December, 2010, at 4:19:43 pm
I have never posted a pic because the IT just sounds to doundting for me. How sad is that? I wanted to post a pic of my new rear decal, so I took a pic with my phone and sent it to my email. And, I learne something new! My phone informs me that the pic is 1280/960 and is jpg (under "File Information", like that does me any good smiling smiley. I thought that maybe I could just drag the pic from my desktop to my ppbb post, but I guess not. And, I know there are instructions for posting pics here somewhere, but I can't find them. Any help? Yes, I know this has been covered a zillion times here, but what can I say, in a few days it will be 1966.

jwdbox - Friday, 17 December, 2010, at 4:54:32 pm
One easy way to do it is to
1. go to TinyPic at [tinypic.com] and click on "Browse". That will take you to your computer's hard drive and you can then search for the picture (jpg) you would like to post. Double click on the picture you want to upload
2. change the size on TinyPic from default to message board or 15".
3. click on up load
4. it will ask you to input some words (to ensure that you are not a spam machine)
5. once it is up loaded just copy the full url from their box titled "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" and paste it into your message
6. check your message on preview, make any change you want, then submit.
hope this helps cool smiley
Most welcome. Well done! smileys with beer *NM*

does a great job of keeping off the sun and bird poop. My first box was ten when I traded it in and the top (treated every two years) looked like new. The paint too, but the canvass tops are more prone to weathering.

Beautiful tail
Bobtesa - Saturday, 18 December, 2010, at 6:37:28 pm
John, very very nice. some 911 tails are stunning compared to, OMG dare I say it w/o getting flamed, Boxster butts. Box tails are, IMHO, not the best angle of the car. But some wider sized 911s, like John's are gorgeous.

Bob, no flame, but I think the Boxster butt is the most attractive in all Porschedom. Different strokes for different foks.smileys with beer

Thanks Bob

I really enjoy the Boxster for top down drives in the summer and for it's neutral handling on the track but for pure looks I can't keep my eyes off the 993 C2S. I've got to keep it covered in the garage or I'ld never go inside - would just stand there staring like some idiot.

Here's another view showing off the "hips".
