window drop question

So I tried the fix for the window drop, but after I pulled off the door panel the wire covering had no play in it. So based on this I need new microswitch? The window does drop if I hold the handle up and release it right before it closes, but this is a pain in the axx.

Quick test ....

... to see if your window regulator is bad.

• Roll up your window
• Open the door
• Put about 8 lbs of downward pressure on the top edge of the glass

If the window drops a half inch and stays dropped after you remove the pressure your regulator is bad.
