'cause I'm thinking that pedro's engine DISPLACEMENT shouldn't change if only the heads are changed. Compression Ratio will change but displacement is bore and stroke which, AFAIK hasn't changed. Right?

... I didn't change the heads.
I changed the engine block to one from a 2.7 liter motor.
This block is the same as the old one.
It has the same bore as the 2.5 (85.5 mm), but the crankshaft is different and produces a longer piston stroke (from 72.0 mm to 78.0 mm), thus creating an additional 200 cc of displacement.
I didn't shave the heads, just had them pressure tested and cleaned, so my compression ratio is almost the same 11.0:1.
Yesterday, after now some 1,500 break-in miles and an oil change, I finally was able to "test" the new engine and take it to the rev limiter (7,000 rpm).
It feels stronger and the VarioCam kick is much more noticeable at 4,500 rpm.
I'll have to wait and see if my AX times are closer to the Cayman S'.
