Am looking for a thin, breathable set. Suggestions?

Are you looking for track gloves or the nice leather ones?

I purchased a super thin buttery pair when I was in Florence/Rome 10 years ago and to be honest, they do nothing for me. Actually I feel kinda dumb wearing them. I even tried them on the track and frankly, get nothing from them. I did wear them on a few 13 hour drives and they do seem to releave a bit of fatigue in my hands but so what. YMMV.

One day while looking for some clubs it hit him:
He bought a right-handed and a left-handed set of golf gloves.
He says they have the same feel as the expensive British driving gloves he used to buy..
I personally only use driving gloves at the track.

the gloves helped on hot days when my bare hands were sweaty. It made a little difference in the winter, too, as they kept my hands a bit warmer, but retained enough dexterity to operate switches properly. Other than that, I really felt they were too much of a "look at me" affectation.

That makes very good sense. Golf gloves are lightweight, very supple, breathable, and provide excellent grip.

For those of us who drive top-down in sub-55 degree temperatures, driving gloves can reduce wind-chill (but, to avoid the 'poser' look, it's best to ensure they're removed before you're out of the car).

I ordered a pair of Isotoners from Amazon. The price was right and they got good reviews. Will be here Monday.

it temporarily takes the sting outta getting nickel-ed and dim-ed... or my state's case, getting Hamilton-ed, Jackson-ed and pretty close to Grant-ed on our toll roads

Quick semi-related story: I know someone who used to have a right hand drive Karmann Ghia. He kept a long-handled church collection basket in it for toll transactions. Got a lot of amazed looks from the toll booth people.

But, I did own a Karmann Ghia. Mine was the more common LH drive variety. Saved tones of money on collection baskets.

I have one that works for the Confederation Bridge (the curved, 12.9 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water), a toll highway in Nova Scotia, and each of the two bridges between Halifax and Dartmouth.

One pass, three separate and distinct administrations, and an account with each.

I've read stories of transponders from one state that didn't work in another. And there are systems that sound like they are the same but go by a slightly different name and have no link with a National system....SunPass, QuickPass, etc. Complaints are leading to a merger of the systems but that takes funding....so it is slow.
