I've got an annoying, intermittent noise, seemingly emitting from where base of the passenger-side interior A-pillar molding intersects the leading edge of the dash. I'd like to remove the molding to see if this is the source of the trouble... any pointers on how to do so without breaking trim pieces? Thoughts / experience appreciated!

Here is a DIY which includes removing the A-pillar trim in its steps. It's from the archives of the old PPBB and the photos no longer show up, but it will give you an idea of how to proceed: [www.ppbb.com]
