High temp paint to change clear bulb to amber..

Remember back in the day folks were "de-ambering", going with clears lenses but putting some paint on the bulb inside so it would still flash amber. What is that paint?

About 4-5 years ago you could get bulbs that did that. No external paint as that could trap heat (and light) and shorten life.

What bulbs you trying to do? I may have some for the 986 clear side markers I forgot to pack in the car when I sold it with all parts.

should you need them. All clear sidemarkers we offer (OE) for 986/987 have amber bulbs.
