Does anyone know the color of this 986 Boxster?

It was an Arizona car that has seen some heavy use (The condition was a bit worn).

On my 1970 Buick Skylark. I couldn't afford the up-price of $15 for the realistic looking blue. Realistic meaning it didn't look like an awfulEarlShiebCrap Blue.

After my doing endless hours of "body work" I had Earl Scheib paint my green 912 silver. It came out with tiger stripes, which they didn't want to make good on. After calling the head office from a state courthouse threatening them with small claims, they acquiesced and the car was redone at a different location. Sheesh, I paid a good 20 bucks for that paint job! (Say, my signature really fits for this one, nicht wahr?)

Some of the colors are obviously not MB, and there's at least one Oslo Blue in there, maybe Petrol Blue, too.

Maybe "True Blue"

I saw one in the dealership and the color was similar to the one you have shown and reminded me of the blue that lots of 356 racers seemed to prefer.

Re: Turquoise - rare & unpopular color but neat in person

I agree, it's neat!! There was a time when I didn't care for these hues, but maybe an acquired taste? Turquoise(or similar)wound up on some of my favorite cars--Lotus Elan, Porsche 356, early Boxsters and Mazda MX5's, to name a few.
Not Turquoise, but 'Pure Blue' eye rolling smiley
