Yup. IMSless and happy. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Driving a new-to-me '09S in Aqua Blue Metallic. It does .5 past light speed. I made the Kessel run in less than 12-parsecs.

Is it the same year for 911s & Boxters? *NM*

I predict...
jlegelis - Wednesday, 13 March, 2013, at 10:41:04 pm
... in a few years that Boxsters like mine ('01 S) from the 'IMS Era', will come to be cherished and treasured by hipsters and historians, much like vinyl records and Polaroid pictures are now all the rage. Dare I detect a certain human frailty in IMS cars, which owners of the more recent, vulgar PDK/Direct Injection cars can only dream of replicating? Now accepting bids starting at $25K on my '01 'original IMS and RMS' model ... drinking smiley

That and the 993s.

Yes, for both, but the 911 that year also got the DFI (Direct Fuel Injetion). I think the Boxster got DFI in MY 2010.

I am thinking that since the '09 got the 9A1 engine, it got DFI then, also.

My recollection, which certainly could be wrong, was the base 987 did not get the DFI and 9A1 until 2010 while the 987S got both in 2009. cool smiley
