I've bought a second muffler for my '02 and want to experiment to make it louder (call this my mid to late life crisis). The main requirement is that the fix has to be simple. Understand that I have an electric drill, a Dremel rotary tool, and a hammer. My skill level is limited to the use of those three tools (as well as a screwdriver, and maybe a Mimosa).

Do I remember somebody telling us about removing the exhaust tip and drilling into the muffler "guts" to get a louder sound? If so, please repeat.
