My second Porsche $75 battery maintainer just failed. Is there a lower priced alternative anyone can suggest?
With the same feature: light is on while charging, goes off when battery tops off.

I picked up a Stanley charger/maintainer for $19 at Menards in November - worked pretty well so far.

Some chargers are designed to behave exactly as you describe (light is on when charging, off when not). The light will occasionally go on in order to top off the battery.

of course that is what is supposed to do. The red light on mine never goes off. Stays on fluttering.
