Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Hmm, those are fractal heat exchangers. *NM*

Fun in the snow

Highway 395 along the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada. Elevation 8000 ft.. Temperature 60 F. In March a couple of years ago. On the way to Death Valley. The top was put down after the picture was taken.

The quality is poor because this was scanned in the pre-digital camera days.

Yep, your picture (and this next one) were taken about one mile south over Conway Summit from my snow picture. This second one was taken in May of a different year, though.

. After my first week of boxster winter driving I'm thinking if you put them away till spring are missing a ton o fun. A great handling car is a great handling winter car . I had this thought this week, the guys at L&N tell us the grease in the intermediate bearing gets washed out by engine oil correct? then we park our cars for 5 months .what do you think that nice thin Mobile one does in the 5 months of limited use? it drains out correct ? So in spring what do you have ? a nice shinny car with a dry bearing in the motor. My theory is the cars that are driven daily and accumulate a lot of miles quickly run forever case in point Pedro's car, the boxsters that are driven on warm Sundays blow up . Hence we give advise like " buy a high mileage boxster your getting a better car" or "run thicker oil with more hddp" the service manager at downtown fine cars told me don't store your car use it in winter. It would be interesting to do a survey. Do stored cars pop more than driven cars? my cars IMS failed the car was a winter stored low mileage creme puff .
