Any ideas? How about a rule of thumb? I found something somewhere that said 48 foot pounds....... one poster on I think a BMW board noted the proper procedure was to tighten to around 30, then loosen, then tighten to 48.

Others said not to worry, just tighten them up.

Thanx

There is an off-the-shelf spec range for M8, M6, M10 whatever. You might ghoogle it.

If i recall the size of the bolt i would nto do 48 lb-ft, maybe more like 25-30.

The key here is to not have it fall off or work its way loose.

And if it does, its nto the end of the world.
