Instrument Cluster LCD Going Bad on Boxster
ugleeual - Monday, 24 January, 2011, at 7:21:55 pm
I have a 2001 Boxster... noticed a "leak" in the LCD near the odometer that seems to be getting worse. I called Suncoast and they said $2200 for a replacement instrument cluster! Anyone else have this problem? What other remedies exist?
You can try ...

... any of the dismantlers for a used cluster.
Unfortunately you can't get just the display, you need a replacement cluster.
They can get you one which has close to the same mileage as your does.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro
