I've been pulled over a few times, and in all cases but one, have always gotten just a warning. The one time I did get a ticket was when I really was going over the speed limit, and for that I don't think my plate choice mattered. IMO, if you are kind and repectful when you get pulled over, they usually treat you nice back.

I wont go the long route, except to say that i've had cops nearly beg me to go to court, where they knew i'd win.
But apparently their quota also stands. Radar detectors are the only cheap insurance i know.

Its not safety, its a money making game. Equip yourself to play.
