2001S Brake Pad Replacement Question
Larry Nakamura - Saturday, 29 March, 2014, at 2:31:01 am
I'm replacing the original brake pads on my 2001S. I knew about the anti-vibration
metal cylinders on the front pads that stick into the pistons. But when I pulled the rear
pads they had 2 things stuck on the back of the pads. I'm not sure what they are. Are
they also anti-vibration devices? Do I need to use them with the new pads or just delete
them? I'm using stock Porsche pads as I do mostly street driving. Thx for any help.
Both of those are...

... vibration dampers.
You can reuse them even if the adhesive is old. With heat it will activate again.
Happy Boxstering
