If I'm reading it correctly, it's saying the 'car' lost control ?? Apparently the driver was simply a passenger?

Sounded as though the engine was bouncing off the rev-limiter - always a recommended procedure when near large unprotected crowds of people.

Yup. It's not the fault of the nut behind the wheel. Guess time for more government car controls. We're actually getting pretty close now. The Googlemobile is a reality. Sigh ....

He didn't just lose control and crash into a crowd. He lost control, regained it, then proceeded to do the same stupid thing.
