Can anyone tell me where this is?

I'm trying to retrace a driving route. I think this is somewhere between Oneonta, NY and Concord, NH.

In the photo, the road goes along a river, or lake, with a massive seawall on the other side.

I'll be darned if I can figure out what road I was on.

Pretty soon I'll be hiding my own easter eggs...

Maybe it's time I kept a notebook in my car to keep track of fun roads.

The other possibility is along the Mohawk river, near Amsterdam, NY, if you were really going from Oneonta to Concord. I don't recall such dikes along the Susquehanna, but there sure are lots of boats.

My initial research was off by a day. When I checked my photo and hotel records more closely, the leg of the trip where I took this photo was between Winchester, VA and Oneonta, NY. The following day took me to Concord.
