They are, but after looking at fancy speakers, and mine, I decided mine needed a slight modification.

Looks like there's a center support/connection in the one you had last year. Makes the new one lighter for improved MPG.

Good eye.

That connecting pipe is still there, but now painted flat black, and essentially invisible. It had been chrome, and, in my view, detracted from the tips.

It had been bugging me ever since I saw the photo of the two cars together (which was the same day I installed it).

Too much time on my hands, you say? Naw.... grinning smiley
