My 2000 Arctic Silver Boxster needs a little bit of rehab.

I was clipped by a hit and run tow truck and my wife dropped a ladder on the hood. My oddments tray also needs a new hinge.

I had agreed upon a price with my normal body shop. Having been hosed by 4 contractors in the last month I asked that they send me a fax/email with the work and the agreed upon price - I promptly got fired by my body shop for insulting them.

So, any suggestions? All in it was $1K and they were repairing rather than replacing the rear bumper.

Porsche specialist, they do all my work and they are an approved NJ manufacturers repair facility so no Issues with with getting the proper repair. A little bit out of the way for you.
Yes, he's very good. Race shop mostly.

Many of the racing shops, by the way, sub the paint and body work to foreign specialties.

Granted not in the Princeton/Trenton area, but I had very good experience with them on my 981. Porsche approved shop. I'm very picky, and over the years I've used about a half dozen shops and never been happy with the work. Quality is the first shop I would ever recommend. Worth checking them out.
... when I went to pick up the car, the front hood was popped open and some rain had pooled inside. Maybe leaving it open had to do with paint drying, but they shouldn't have left it open knowing significant rain was coming. The shop itself is impressive, with Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, and Ferraris being repaired.
The 986 had a scrape on the nose, a crease at the front hood's leading edge, and a broken headlight. The bumper skin (only,) hood, and headlight were replaced, and the paint match was near flawless.
