The week of 4/21, my 996 had some rough moments when starting it cold. I called my local mechanic and he asked me have it flat bedded to the shop on 4/24. IMS needed to be replaced but had not completely failed.
Then it rained in Pensacola. A lot! This rain overwhelmed my Targa drains (which probably weren't fully operational anyway) even though the car was under a carport. Insurance adjusters slowly got involved, a Porsche dealership got involved (new anti-theft module apparently means a new programmed remote) and I got my car back today.
IMS, clutch, flywheel, wiring harness, clean drains, tires, anti-theft and a remote. But I'm happy and wish the travelers a great BRBS! -RH
