can I get PIWIS software someplace to make it work on the Boxster?

I have a 2000 2.7.

I have a standard OBD tester, but I would like to be able to do things like graph and reach Porsche specific codes. I am hoping the 15+ year old software is out there someplace.
... new system.
The original is PST-II.
The OBD-USB cable does no good because the system requires the BOSCH PCMCIA interface card.
You should purchase a whole PST-II (Porsche System Terster) or a Durametric system.

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
... If I can swing a deal on a PIWIS.
If it happens, I'll post it here.

There are a couple of UK sites that claim to have compatible software, but they charge and who knows if it is viable?

Why dod you need PCMCIA cards if you have a USB cable?

I also have a paralel port cable. It seems that so long as the cable will retrieve the output, it is just a matter of interpreting - no??

I am clearly no expert.
... the actual interface that allows for the data to be interpreted.
Without that card the PST-II software will not work.
Durametric uses another platform where their proprietary cable is the interface.
