Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

That's a LOT of flatout driving, with houses as "safety barriers", there's not much margin for error. You have to be REALLY familiar with the route to drive anywhere near that limit, that's for sure. You can also see the difficulty with visibility when driving along the tree lined parts. Your eyes have to do a lot of really quick re-adjusting from dark to light and back.
To me, that was WAY more fun than watching an F1 race these days. The car is prepped with the most care and then is driven to the limit, with the driver really showing off (at least in my view) his skills without electronic adjustable this and that, requiring a $100K steering wheel, shifting his own gears, no need for artificial tire stops.

Really did enjoy that.
An ex-colleague of mine (Chris Lennon) just finished 2nd in the Vintage class at Pikes Peak in a 911. That also takes some serious nerve. I'm surprised that Pikes Peak didn't make the list.
never let me do that.

I had a heck of a time overcoming them skiing, although while I'm still cautious, i can now attack nearly anything.

So maybe there's hope :-)
