It's physically possible, but we don not recommend it.
The BEST bearing for our application is the OEM steel-on-steel bearing.
The hybrid ceramic bearing eventually channels the outer race because the ceramic balls are too hard compared to the steel race.
The hybrid ceramicbearings are supposed to be inspected/replaced at 40,000 to 50,000 miles.
Install the DOF and replace the bearing with the steel-on-steel and forget about it.
