so after a lot of research i think i am going to buy a 2006 911 cab. i see a low mileage 23k cs can for $43k from a porsche dealer and a 2006 c4s cab from private party. 34k miles. also for 43k. both look to be in great condition and similarly equipped. any suggestions on which one to pick. i figured the 4 wherl drive is unessary in la. and would just he higher upkeep right?

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
"A mile of highway will take you one mile. A mile of runway will take you anywhere."
Better handling, better cargo space, more reliable engine, current technology. I could go on and on, but you get the drift.
An AWD convertible ? I don't get it. Add to that the 06 911 has the infamous IMS--which may or may not go bang.

For $40K+ there are better cars out there.
