I'm actually looking for the instructions on taking the rim and grill off. I remember
there is a trick to releasing the clips, but it's been years since I've done it. I tried
searching other boards, but they all have links that are dead. Do you push in on it
to release the clips? I remember there is a clip you have to be careful not to break.
Please help in pointing me to the old instructions that describe in detail taking off the
rim and grill.
here is a link with 3 pages. I've tried but, did not succeed ...good luck [www.renntech.org]
That is for a 987 which is different then the 986 rim and grill. THX anyway. Still
looking.
OK, I got it. I did end up breaking the tab on the bottom corner of the
rim piece, but will glue it back on when I put it back together. I was trying
to avoid that, oh well. THX for your help.
How are you? It's been quite awhile

Joanne
