Has anyone been to the Barrett Jackson auction?

Are there other car related things to do (car shows, area drives, charity events, etc.), similar to Monterey Car Week? I could not find a list with other activities during that time.

I have been twice. There are other car auctions at the same time as Barrett Jackson. Can't think of their names, but what I found interesting about them was that they had more affordable cars. 40's, 50's, 60's Chevys, Fords, etc., if you happen to like that kind of stuff. Nice aircraft museum in Mesa, which isn't too far away. Hope this info helps. You could check with the Phoenix or Scottsdale Tourist Bureau. They probably know the names and locations of the other car auctions.
