All new Porsches are equipped with a Start/Stop feature, intended to save fuel. This feature can be deactivated via a button in the center console. If you are a 981 or 991 owner, how do you use this feature?
  1. Always on. (Button light is off. Engine stops/restarts automatically when you come to a stop.
  2. Always off. (Button light is on. Engine does not automatically stop/start)
  3. Sometimes on, sometimes off
I guess it won't bother those who'll be choosing to occupy, but not drive autonomous cars.
I don't have either car, but would not use it. I associate that function with Hybrid technology (my wife is on her second Prius). Besides, with my top down, I love to hear my 997S spit and snarl while idling.

Always off. Turn on mid ride rarely, then always off again before shut down.
Always off. First thing I did on delivery, turn key to On, turn off AutoStop, then started car. Haven't touched it since.
