Finally got the Boxster out of hibernation for an excellent run along the St. Lawrence river just west of Montreal. Fine day.
My first engine start after close to 6 months hibernation was pretty rough. Two attempts required to get running but big vibs due not all cylinders firing required a shutdown and third start that resulted in smooth running. Last spring I had a rough start (something new) which threw a check engine light but that cleared after after a few cycles. Mentioned it to the dealer service adviser last fall (75K mile service) and he suggested an injector cleaning. I didn't get that done but I'm starting to think it might be a good idea ... maybe before I drive down to Indiana for the PCA parade? No check engine light today just that glorious symphony in flat six!
Go Habs Go!
