Hi Pedro,

I won't be there (though I loved doing the first COTA club race 2 years ago). Look for my SPB friends Mark Foley and Nathan Johnson, and Bob Murillo in the lone Spec 911. Good guys.

Trygve
... but I'll say hi to your buddies when they come through tech.
Happy Boxstering

... I told him "I have a message for you".
He looked a little worried.
Racers don't like to get messages from Scrutineers winking smiley
I then said: "Trygve asked me to say hi"
He then breathed a sigh of relief and wanted to know how I knew you.
It was a good race, but unfortunately Mark's car (with a Pro driver) was involved in an on-track incident on Sunday's Enduro.
As I write this, I'm still stuck in an airport.
I had a 5:20 PM flight from Austin to Dallas and then Dallas to Ft. Lauderdale.
With the tornadoes around Dallas, all flights through that region were cancelled and by the time I reached an agent after 5 hours in line, they told me that i couldn't get out of Austin till Tuesday.
They wanted to fly me to LA and then to Miami. I ended up renting a car and driving to Houston where I spent the night and now await a noon flight to
Miami.
But the adventure doesn't end there. Because I had flown out of Ft. Lauderdale that's where my car is parked. So when I get to
Miami I then have to catch a train to Ft. Lauderdale station and a shuttle to the airport.
Unless Gary wants to pick me up in MIA and take me to FLL.
What a trip!
Happy Boxstering

that you should have driven to Texas. The round trip would have been quicker. smiling smiley

It's happened to me a few times that I drove to Florida and arrived earlier than someone who was supposed to fly from Toronto the same time I left.

Well, done, Pedro. smiling smiley

Good luck getting home. Sounds like a travel nightmare.

And thanks for volunteering your time to be a Scrutineer!
