Re: AAA repair insurance

Has anyone had any experience or does anyone have any thoughts on this program?

2001 Base, purchased in 2004, replaced engine at 130K+, RIP 2017

Our Porsche indy does not accept the AAA repair program... but our Japanese/American indy does. Although we don't have repair insurance ourselves (LandCruiser doesn't break much), triple-A is the program that he recommends if you're going to purchase one.

I bought a AAA policy a few years ago (and I only needed it one time for a few hundred $). I selected AAA because they cover everything with stated exceptions whereas other companies do it the other way around only covering what they state. Second, it appeared to me that these companies tend to come and go (out of business) whereas AAA has always been there. In retrospect I should have banked the premium and saved it to offset any potential failure. Good luck, Tom
