As to tires, again, sizes will dictate what is available. The Michelin PSSs are fabulous, but frankly, the top-of-the-line Pirellis are supposedly terrific too.
If available, and for vastly less money and better wear, try the BFG g-force sport comp-2. Michelin brand. I have found them to be a great alternative, with a 330 treadwear, and even hold up well as my track "rain" tire. Predictable grip, excellent in wet, long wearing. Some find them marginally noisy and harsh, but that's fairly minor and car dependent. Oddyly they ride better on my track car than street.
