Finally got to detail the new to me 986......

...and it was such a glorious day here in New England, I had to take it for a spin and take a few pics. This is is the car I purchased from Pedro, and is my first P-car.

Looks like you're getting a chance to enjoy some top down driving yet.

Great shine on the car. They sure are a joy to work on. Your car is over a decade old and still looks thoroughly modern. That's one of the things I love about the Boxster design.

Looks like your leaves are at about the same colour change as ours around here.

Thanks, Gunter! I agree 100%. These cars have a timeless look. Yes, it seemed like summer around here when we went to see Mr. Bonilla a few weeks ago, and now it is fall - my favorite season. I've gone for a few top-down night drives when the temp was in the mid-50F range. Got to take advantage while I still can.

and the "design" is effectively two decades old and it still looks great. I do think that the 986 will be a timeless classic.
