The turbo-6 looks like a winner. Similar high praise in the current Excellence.

Pity the 981 will be getting a turbo-4, rather than the 6.
Read two reviews. One focused on sound and said good. Other on road performance and was also good. And steering was praised also in both.

So beauty is in the eye ...

Wait till YOU can drive one.

"All change is not growth, as all movement is not forward."

Plus a report several days ago out of Dubai's 2015 Motor Show has Mr. Peter Vogel, Director of Porsche MENA (Middle East and North Africa), stating that base Boxster will have a 4 cylinder turbo but that the S and GTS versions will always have a 6 cylinder engine.

Could be the reason Porsche has dilly dallied and delayed the 981.2 release, while rushing ahead with 'MY 17' 991.2 and Macan offerings. The 981.2 could have the following engines:

Boxster = Flat 4 turbo (2000cc) around 240hp
Boxster S = Flat 6 turbo (2500cc) around 320hp
Boxster GTS = too soon to guess.

YMMV winking smiley

I'll have to remember and steal that quote in the future. Fantastic.
