Stop light bulb change

I have a warning on my dash telling me to check my right stop light, changed the bulb (P21 4 watt iirc) and the warning is still there??
(and, Porsche is not very helpful, couldn't they make the wire 2" longer to make it easier to pull the board out?

When you say stop light, do you mean, brake light?

Regardless of the warning, does it actually work?

If not, and the bulb is good, i would suspect a connection - ground would be my first thought, but double check seating.

STOP LIGHT,
Kinda hard to see if it is working or not.....need a mirror, or gotta get the wife to step on the brake, but she's busy packing for a cruise.....gotta wait.

Right. Its fairly easy to see if something lights up on one side but not the other. *NM*

Corvettes many years ago might've had fiber optics from lights to dash as a positive check. (?) *NM*
