Today I noticed the silver paint peeling on my tiptronic rocker. See photo.

2006 Boxster S 987

Can you please give me the part # so that I can order it?

Thanks in advance.

Anthony

That looks like Galvano Silver.

Part No. 997.613.431.02
You should check with your dealer by giving them the VIN to cross reference and be sure.
You're not going to like he price: MSRP $317.64.
They don't sell the cover, just the complete switch.
You could remove it and clear coat it again.

Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Hi Pedro,

Great to hear from you. Hope you are doing well.

If I pursue the clear coat option, can you tell me what is involved in removing the switch?

Thanks

Anthony
