… of the 918 918s.
The very first week of delivery here in the US one caught on fire in Chicago at a gas station and was a total loss.

Then there were 917….

Here's one in China

Then there were 916 ...

I have heard of 4 or 5 other 918s that have been totaled also, so there are about 910 of them left.

Happy Porscheing,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
There is also one that burned at a gas station in Toronto last yesr
The owner kf that one spjlled a bit of gas which ran along the body a d hit the exhaust. The filler looks cool mounted up high in the hoop, but you really have to be careful when filling it.
yes, this is exactly the problem; very hot components right by the gas filler. the person i know who has one said that the dealer recommended driving to the gas station on electric power only so the gas engine doesn't get hot.
