This warning light has started to come on when starting the car, but goes out after about 5 minutes. I ran the OBDC code reader and the computer did not capture any codes. Any ideas on what this could be?

... that the car is low on coolant.
The reason why is on when cold and off when hot is that the coolant (and any trapped air) expands, raising the level and turning off the warning.
So your coolant level is at the very low threshold.
You can top it off with distilled water or with 50/50 mix.
But even more importantly is to find out why it is low.
Check the underside of the rear trunk lid to see if there's any condensation above where the coolant cap is.
If there is you either have a bad coolant cap or a cracked coolant reservoir.

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Check the last two digits of the part # on your coolant cap. If it is less than 04 then you should replace the coolant cap.

It's a common problem that the cap gasket fails and dumps coolant out a tube that exits at the bottom of the right rear wheel well.

Super easy fix if this is it. You should be able to get the part for under $20.
