BTW, your cobalt 987S looks great. Maybe you'll post a few pics?
I think it looks better than the Boxster.

They have since the 981 came out cool smiley

One word for ANY 718: YUCK

Of course, YMMV

You might be right. I was at a dealership last week and passed by a couple of new Caymans and was struck that they look like serious sports coupes, compared to the Boxster.

I agree 100%. The Boxster is a weird looking coupe.
They all seem very large since the 981s.

Yeah, but it's a weird looking coupe only because it doesn't have a fixed roof. winking smiley

Cobalt blue is stunning.

If I recall correctly, one of the Canadian participants at BRBS a few years ago brought his cobalt blue 987S - it, like yours, is a head-turner.

Here's a link to a promotional video, in a rather odd setting.

What really surprises me is the emphasize Porsche is putting on the fact that this is an entry level, least expensive Porsche sports car. I don't remember them ever emphasizing this with the Boxster. Seems a bit negative. A positive spin would have been to call it the most affordable Porsche sports car.
